World Health Day: Tackling Hypertension in Young Adults

On World Health Day, we raise awareness about key health issues affecting people worldwide. This year, we spotlight Hypertension in Young Adults, a growing but often overlooked concern.

Hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure, is no longer a condition of the elderly. More young adults are being diagnosed, increasing their risk of heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. Factors such as stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, and excessive salt intake contribute to rising cases. Unfortunately, many do not realize they have hypertension until complications arise.

As part of our dedication to community health, Amal Outreach has consistently promoted health education and preventive care. We have conducted blood pressure screenings, health education sessions, and wellness programs to encourage early detection.

Therefore, to address this issue of hypertension in young adults, we are organizing a World Health Day event dedicated to educating young adults about hypertension. The event will bring together health experts to share insights and strategies on causes, signs, prevention and management of hypertension.

Join us for a virtual session where experts will discuss Hypertension in Young Adults: A Growing Crisis, and steps for prevention and management. Details areas follows:
